FIRST Review for my Forthcoming Collection is in...

“Imagine Edgar Allan Poe fakes his own death, gets into a time machine and heads into the future. He discovers new inspiration in Gary Larson’s classic Far Side comics. I can neither deny nor confirm that has happened, but if it did, Edgar would be writing under the pen name ‘Nick Cato’”

High praise!

I don't know if I'm more flattered by the Poe comparison or the Larson!

Larson, of course! You know, speaking of Larson, there's a man underappreciated for the horror aspect of his work. It was all hilarious, but some of it was pretty dark, too. Ever see, "Shhh... the maestro is decomposing"?

YES! My favorite from his was featured in a "banned" section of one of his collections: NO newspaper would run his cartoon of a snake making it's way through a baby's crib---with the baby missing and a huge lump in the snake's belly!

Yes! Another classic. Those newspapers sure are touchy.
